On 1st April 2011, CP & Autistic children did their sports activity by playing cricket. Some participated in game and others were clapping with excitement of play. Junior Section children enjoyed with musical chair activity at their lobby. Ten chairs were arranged in opposite direction and children participants, both boys and girls were eleven. Music teacher started music and children were directed to run around the chairs till the music stop. Other remaining children started clapping and shouting. They enjoyed a lot in this activity. Senior students at first floor went to xx ground in front of Institute, for sports activity. They practised well and enjoyed their game

Autistic & CP section did their sports activity by practising catch and throw ball. All children took part in playing with ball and enjoyed a lot. At ground floor, junior section children learned sharing concept during lunch time. They celebrated a birth day party of a girl from playgroup. All children clapped on cutting of cake and sang birthday wish song with teachers. They participated poem singing competition and every participant won balloon by complete song on his/her turn. Senior section students celebrated colouring day. They wore colourful dresses on this occasion. They brought double lunch with them for sharing with other fellows. All children shared their lunch with each other happily.
In this way, children celebrated their Friday as fun taking activity.

Program was started with Dua of Allama Iqbal (National Poet). Then they started showing video clips of classroom setting sand decorated ceiling, windows, doors and soft boards. The decoration of soft boards was based on educational ideas of word building, counting, clouds, trees, cats, bulbs and different shapes of fish. Such set up benefits to improve and enhance child intelligence standards and education. M. Ishfaq (custom manager) was the compare of program, who emphasized for a teacher to know the basics, passion and belief. If a teacher having purpose, strong basic and passion, then he might be achieve his goal. Policy towards students is consistency during work. Atif Imran delivered a lecture about curriculum, book workshops, pre-primary education, basic research, demo of activities and how to use teacher guide. He also told about core areas of Jugno series which are fourteen and explained them in detail. Behind NCE is basic research IIPR: Introduction Identification Practice and Review. After that, they asked for refreshment. At the end, Syed Maqsood Ali described book training, methods of teaching guide, methods of making flash cards, vocabulary development etc. It was quite informative and good provider of guideline for teachers.

Inclusive Education is the system of education in which all the pupils with special educational needs are enrolled in ordinary classes in their district schools and are provided with support services and an education based on their strengths and needs.
A program on two years completion of urban Inclusive Education, celebration was organized by Amin Maktab and Punjab Welfare Trust for the Disabled (PWTD) at University of Central Punjab. All assisted NGOs located in Lahore , were invited on this awareness program .The Hon-Chief Executive of RSI Dr Abdul Tawwab attended this program along with two members of administrative staff The program was started with Talawat first and then Hamd of Allah. Dr Zafar Bajwa performed welcome address . Then Ms Nuzhat Rubab highlights the journey toward inclusive education. The present status of Inclusive Education was described by Khawar Sultana. Inayat Foundation and Prince Academy Inclusive School presented Tableau’s. Its further projects 2 RIEP Rural Inclusive Education Program was brought forth by Syed Amir Jaafri and project 3 Faisalabad by M. Muneeb. Dr Imran presented Foutain House Project 4 and Amir Cheema Dare Arqam Project 5. Soofia Qureshi narrated success stries. Dr Amjad Saqib gave concluding remarks of this program . At the end, Justice Aamir Raza proposed vote of thanks to all participants.

After brief introduction about Institute, guests showed interest to visit. Junior section head Mrs Safia Rashid joined them at ground floor for their round to Institute. They started from assessment department where they were introduced about assessment procedure for special children. After that, they went out reach dept .There Ms Rizwana briefly told them about providing special children academic, speech and physio services on the basis of alternate days. After this they took complete round of Junior section and observed children working on their goals of IEP plan in their class rooms. They made admiring comments about children’s discipline and teacher’s efforts. They went to first floor to visit senior and vocational section. There Ms Umm-e-Farwa, Head of Senior Section helped to take round of senior class room settings and afterwards to vocational section. There they were surprised to see the works of special children as table mats, rugs, fabric, sequence work, sewing, painting, flower making and cooking. At the final stage of round, they went to visit Autistic and CP section. There Ms Ayesha Khan explained about Autistic training and CP training procedures. They observed Hydrotherapy department with great interest. In this way, they finished their round to school. After refreshment they left with admiring comments about Institute and efforts of administration and staff members too.

At Rising Sun Institute, each Friday is celebrated as fun Friday. The activity organized for children carries fruitful effect and skill development benefit. On this routine following, Autistic & CP Section celebrated Music Day. All children participated in singing poems and songs. They listened songs on their desired requests and enjoyed a lot. Junior section children celebrated coloured day. They wore coloured dresses which were of red, yellow and green colours. They were given balloons matching with their dresses. Three groups were formed in circle positions. Children joined groups according to their dress colour. When music teacher begain music, they became excited and started dance. Senior section prepared the items for buying and selling in order to educate them functionally. It helped students to acquire money concept and idea of prices for daily routine life purchase and selling skill.

They started visit soon after the presentation and documentary about special children and Institute. They were really impressed to observe the children working in different vocational training set up. Summer Season
On the Friday 29th April, Autistic & CP group decided to arrange something related to their training plan and program. They directed the children to do exercises of blowing on speech day. For this purpose, they used the light weight material as cotton and pencil sharp material. Other than that, children enjoyed puppet show. Two characters Montey and Buntey presented social story. Children also participated in this activity.
Junior section children learned Table manners skill. All the groups of Junior section were gathered around the tables arranged at lobby. Each teacher was involved with her students and children were told about washing hands, start eating with the name of Allah, finish their food etc. All children followed the command of their teachers.
Senior section worked on imparting information about seasons. On this Friday, they celebrated summer fiesta. For this purpose, they went out on xx ground in front of school, with their umbrellas, hats, juices, tang, bottles and sun glasses in order to fight with crisp sun rays. They enjoyed a lot and made lot of fun with summer fiesta.

The attending persons from Rising Sun Institute were Dr Abdul Tawwab, Mr Mahmood Sultan and Mr Mohammad Ali Hakeem. The honourable Chief Minister Mr Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif arrived at 10am. Program was started with the recitation of Quranic Verses. Then a group of visual impaired students of first to forth class, presented Hamd in a beautiful manner. Welcome Address was made by Chairman Board of Trustees Mr M. Khalil Mian. He made admiration about the deep concern of Chief Minister with special people. Then a skit named “Birthday Present” and a poem “Iblees Ka Ietraf” were presented. After that, audience enjoyed display of Pipe Band. The Honorable Chief Miniter delivered a speech and announced a donation of Twenty Million Rupees from Punjab Govt and Five Million from himself. He appreciated a lot to talent of visually impaired students and determination. At the end of function, Honorary secretary Mian Kamran Afzal presented vote of Thanks. Later, Chief Minister took round of school building with good compliments.

On 6th May2011, Children of Autistic & Cp section performed self help skills in their group activity with the help of their teachers. For this purpose, teachers used task analysis method for practising on different tasks as open and button shirt, hand wash, face wash.
Junior section children enjoyed Puppet show program. On this Friday, they learned to wash hands before eating food, through performing characters of puppets story. Two teachers Ms Bushra and Ms Maria took part behind puppets. Ms Asma made comparing and explained the children. Later she asked related questions to them.
On this Friday, Senior section children were given concept of money and idea of prices through Buying and Selling activity. Teachers took them to Canteen and they bought different things with the help of their teachers. After this activity, they enjoyed Face Painting. Different shapes of flowers and fruits were painted on their cheeks. They enjoyed a lot with this activity.

Elimination and rehabilitation of all forms of Child Labour in Pakistan. Child Care Foundation came in to being when it was most needed to comprehensively address child labour issue in Pakistan and protect country’s strategic interests nationally and internationally.
Honourable guest was received by Mrs Parveen Tawwab. In the office of Dr Abdul Tawwab, she received a brief introduction about Institute. In the seminar hall, Dr Abdul Tawwab gave welcome address and introduction first then he delivered a lecture on “Common Disabilities with focus on Intellectual Impairment”. Then a documentary film about Rising Sun Institute was presented. Major Atif Masood made presentation about RSI Milestones, Vision and Mission, Education, Vocational and Extra Curricullar activities and discussion of RSI. Ms Sajida gave lecture on Autism. After this group started visit to observe various facilities of Rising Sun Institute for special children defence campus.
On 12th May, Second day of visit, group received a comprehensive lecture on “specific learning disabilities” by Mrs Nabila Chauhdry . Immediately after that, Mrs Nabila gave another lecture on “Inclusive Education”. After that Mr Mahmood Ahmed (Chairman Finance RSI) gave speech on “Facilities and Privileges for PWD’s provided by Govt of Punjab Pakistan/Community Awareness”. On Friday 13th May, Children of Autistic section listened Surah-e-Rehman with Urdu translation. They listened quietly in a respectful manner and religious fervour. After this,
Children did art work. They made clouds with cotton and raindrops with prints of finger pores. In this activity all children participated with great interest.
In Junior section, teacher Ms Sonia arranged art activity for all groups of ground floor. She prepared three water colours red, yellow and blue in three plates. She took different colour hand prints on a white chart paper from all children. It was a beautiful colour combination made by students hand prints. It was a successful effort to give students colour concept and participation in activity.
Senior section celebrated Mothers Day on this Friday. For giving concept of Mothers day, they were directed to make cards for their mothers. At the end, they were given cards for their mothers. It was interesting activity and all children participated happily.

Ghazali education Trust has bloomed in to its 15th year and is certainly mature enough in the field of education. Ghazali’s efforts in providing quality education to rural areas of Pakistan are commendable. They are having 353 branches all over Punjab. Out of these, 53 are in different districts mostly in villages.
20 District Managers visited Rising Sun Institute Defence Campus. They were welcomed by Administration warmly. After a brief introduction, Mrs Parveen Tawwab took them to visit Institute. First they observed Assessment Dept where MS Sajida Malik Made presentation about assessment procedure and IEP development. After that, they started round from Junior Section ground floor where they met with children in their class rooms. On Thursday 2nd June, Parent-teacher meeting was organized for Junior And Out-Reach Sections. For this purpose, Seminar Hall was decorated with colourful art work of children. Tables for the departments of Out-Reach, Speech therapy, physio &sensory therapy were reserved in order to make sure their presence in the meeting. Meeting was started with the arrival of Mrs Parveen Tawwab at 9.30am. 60% of the parents attended the meeting. Reports and gifts for students were given to parents of the students. Parents were satisfied with the results of the children and gave good comments in the comment-
Book at the end of the meeting.

Parent- Teacher Meeting of Senior and Vocational was organized on 3rd June 2011. Dr Ayesha was the chief guest, who delivered a lecture on “Sexual issues among Adolescence”. Mothers of students were invited from both Campuses to attend the lecture. Dr Ayesha delivered a very comprehensive lecture and took question answer session too. After that meeting was started. Teachers showed files of students and gave reports to parents. In the comment book, parents expressed their views and showed their satisfaction with the Institute.

Details of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Days
On 6th June, 8th Annual Summer Teacher Training Workshop was started. All educational and training staff of both Campuses was present. Educational and training staff members
Were divided into ten groups. Each group contained one co-ordinator, one group leader and members of having different qualifications, sections and campuses. Administration of Rising Sun was also there for opening ceremony. The program of training workshop was started with Talawat by Ms Ayesha Khan. Chief guest was Munno Bhai (Writer, Columnist and Chairman Sundas Foundation for Thalassemia). Mrs Nabila Chauhdry as a stage secretary started comparing the program. She gave brief introduction about workshop and Rising Sun .Then she requested Dr Abdul Tawwab for Welcome Address. After that, Mr Ali-ur-Rasheed expressed objectives of conducting teachers training workshop. He told the format of training program consisting 40% based on lectures and 60% on Activity base. After this, Chief Guest was invited for Speech.
Training program was started with Tahira Hassan presentation on Impairment, Disability and Handicap. It was well informative and helpful to clear the confusing use of these words. After this Ms Shaista Zaka-ud-Din gave a lecture on “Control of Tongue”and answered questions related to Topic. Mrs Sadaf Asif gave lecture on Adaptive Skills and later after lecture she administered a activity based on ten Adaptive Skills. Which was successfully accomplished by participating staff.

Second Day program was started with Talawat by Mr Rashid Bhular. Then Mr Ihtasham presented a poem about Autistic Children named “Jazbaat ke Farishtey. After this Ms Ayesha Khan made presentation on “Autism” Which was beautifully presented with the help of video clips.Ms Zahra Kalsoom’s lecture was on “Behavior Intervention for Special Children. She Conducted Activity on Management of Behavior Problem too. With this activity 2nd Day program came to an end.

Third day Training program was started with Talawat and Naat by Anty Kaneez Fatima. First of all, Mrs Nabila Chauhdry delivered a lecture on Learning Disabilities. After then, Mrs Aniqa Tarrar presented Preverbal Skills with the help of video clips which might be very useful for special children having speech problems.
Dr Abdul Tawwab delivered a lecture on Prevention, Early Detection and intervention. It was a good effort to educate staff. At last not the least, Mr Ali-ur-Rasheed arranged activity which brought excitement for staff members performing towards goals. All groups took part in it. It was basically test of touch, taste, sound hearing and target killing
It took almost two hours and everyone took part in it.

Forth day Training Workshop was started with Talawat and then Ms Zahra Kalsoom made presentation on Growth Group. With the end of her presentation, she started Activity on Growth Group. After that, Dr Nazir Malik started his lecture on Epilepsy which was very informative. Teachers asked questions about their students having epileptic problems. After that question answer session, Dr Abdul Tawwab started his Introductory Address for the Team of C42. Ms Rizwana Shahzadi gave presentation on Guiding and counselling for the Parents of Mentally Retarded Children. That was very informative for all. At the end, Ms Zahra started her Activity specially prepared for guiding and counselling the mother of MR Child.

Details of 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Day
On 10th June, 8th Annual Summer Teacher Training Workshop was going to start its 5th day. On this day, Chief Guest was Raja Mohammad Anwar (Chairman Punjab Education Foundation).Program was started with Talawat performed by Anty Kaneez Fatima. Mr Ali-ur-Rasheed gave the introduction of conducting Workshop. Dr Abdul Tawwab presented Welcome Address. Ihtasham presented his poem about Autistic children. Then Chief guest was requested to distribute certificates among the trained teachers badge of September to December. After the distribution of certificates and shields, Chief Guest delivered a speech. Raja Anwar expressed his plan to promote social interaction with the normal students with students having some disabilities so that attitude of civil society towards special people could be made better. After that, a presentation was made by speech section head Ms Aniqa and a teacher Ms Sidra Ayesha on “Speech and Language Therapy for Children with Cerebral Palsy. They described different lip, tongue and jaw exercises. That was informative and helpful.

On 11th June, 6th day program was started with Talawat by Anty Kaneez and Naat. Ms Falak Meezan From Al-Hudda gave a lecture on Rizq-e-Halal. Which was very comprehensive and useful for moral training of every one. At the end of lecture, there was a detailed question and answer session. Ali-ur-Rasheed presented Activity related to Cp children.

On 13th June 7th Day teacher training program was started with Talawat by Ms Parveen. Ihtasham presented Hamd which was written by him. Mr Ali-ur-Rasheed Made presentation on Adaptation and later demonstrated it in Activity about adapting techniques. Ms Zahra Kalsoom described group therapy and did group activity too. At the end, Mrs Nabila Chauhdry announced for Naat competition. Many staff members took part and got appreciation.

On 14th June, 8th Day of Teacher Training was started with Talawat by Asma Wali. Ms Umm-e-Farwa gave presentation on Functional Academics. After this, Mrs Nabila Chauhdry delivered a lecture on Inclusive Education. Ms Aniqa Tarrar and a teacher both gave presentation about Speech and Language Therapy with video clips.Then a Activity started for the selection of best teacher from all section .Each section selected its best teacher. Ms Nazia Qayyum gave presentation about the Qualities of Good Teacher. Then at the end, Some video clips were presented about teachers efforts with special children.

On 15th June, Final Day of 8th Summer Teacher Training Workshop Was Started with Talawat performed by Aunty Kaneez Fatima. A teacher Yasra presented a Naat in a beautiful tone. Mr Ihtasham and Yousaf presented Hamd in the praise of Allah.
After that Head of Speech Therapy Aniqa Tarrar with her two teachers Ms Munazza Iqbal and Huma Gul presented Phenological Articulation Error (Totala pan).With that Training workshop program came to an end.
For the ceremony of certificate distribution, Progam was started with Talawat of Ms Ayesha Khan. Mr Ali-ur-Rasheed described the objectives and goals of Teacher Training Program. Dr Abdul Tawwab Khan Presented Welcome Address. After that Chief Guest was invited on stage for the distribution of certificates. Certificates were distributed among all participants of Teacher Training Program. Some certificates among old staff were also distributed. Sportive staff members having good services were also awarded certificates. At the end, all participants were asked for refreshment arranged by Hon-Director Mrs Parveen Tawwab. In this way, Teacher Training Program came to an end.
