Inclusive Education & Training Program Initiated by Rising Sun Education & Wefare Society

Rising Sun Education and Welfare Society (RSE&WS) has been providing research and training support to graduates and post graduate trainee teachers.

According to the WHO statistics, ratio of disabilities (PWDs) in a community is 10%. Less than 4% children with disabilities are attending special schools, 96% have no schooling.
Inclusive education where disable children can study side by side the normal children is cost effective and is practiced in large number of developed as well as developing countries. According to the special education policy of Pakistan all regular schools will have inclusive education for special children by year 2025.
RSE&WS is offering a five days training course on special needs and inclusive education to enable teachers of regulars schools to accommodate their instructional methods and materials according to the diverse needs of the students. This course will also give them a thorough knowledge about special children.

Financial Assistance:
The courses are being conducted with assistance from USAID.

Duration of course will be 5 days. All training expenses including training module, stationery, 2 teas, and lunch will be provided by Rising Sun Education & Welfare Society. All participants will be given Rs. 400/- as per Diem. Transport of local participants, to and from Rising Sun Institute XX Sector DHA Lahore, will be borne by the participants/ parent organization.
Boarding & Lodging (including dinner and breakfast), transport from and to the place of duty for the out-station participants will be provided by Rising Sun Education & Welfare Society. They will also be provided all above mentioned facilities. 

Partner organizations of whose teaches shall be trained are required to promote inclusive education in their respective schools and enroll special children.

This course is specially designed to meet the need of  regular school teachers for emerging inclusive education programs. The content of the course has been specially designed to meet the diverse needs of special children. The course is in line with all international conventions and declarations and latest trends in the field.

    Provide information about characteristics and needs of  special children

    Provide the basic introduction of special and  inclusive education
    Introduction of different teaching methods and their implications in inclusive setups
    Approaches to curriculum modifications according to diverse needs of children
    Provide teachers with basic techniques to improve their motivation at work
