Ms. Christine Bata Schmidt, sister of Mr. Bata, the owner of BATA International Shoe Company visited the Institute at Defence Campus on 22^nd August 2009. She was accompanied by Mr. Imran Malik, Managing Director of BATA Pakistan and other senior staff members of BATA Pakistan Ltd. Ms. Christine was briefed on the services provided to and achievements made by the special students. She took a round of the Institution and spent some time with the students. She finally expressed her views by saying, “A most impressive institution serving a serious need in society”.
